On beautiful sunny days, we almost instinctively seek something to cool us down. In Nowy Targ, we have a wonderful tradition of cooling off with exquisite, traditional ice cream bought at well-known spots in the city center.

In the mid-20th century, they were made by hand in containers with ice cut directly from the Dunajec and stored in the cellar. Today, Nowy Targ ice cream is made with modern refrigeration equipment, but for decades it has not lost its delicious taste thanks to closely guarded production secrets and only natural ingredients in the recipe.

Whether served in a traditional wafer cone or elegantly on a platter, wonderful ice cream made from milk, eggs, sugar, cream, and fruits is the pride of Nowy Targ. Gourmets from all over Poland come to taste these delicacies!

At the Żarnecki, Jarkiewicz, and Lubieński's families, delicious ice cream is available from May to October. At the Deja Vue café owned by the latter, you can enjoy your favorite flavors all year round.

It's worth coming to Nowy Targ. Also for the wonderful traditional ice cream.
