Museums in Nowy Targ:

Podhale Museum named after Czesław Pajerski

Since 1994, the museum has been located in the town hall building, one of the most representative buildings in Nowy Targ.
The first mentions of the Nowy Targ town hall date back to the 15th century - however, it burned down during a great fire in the city in 1601.

Printing Museum

The Municipal Cultural Center in Nowy Targ - Printing Museum in Nowy Targ combines basic museum functions with extensive cultural center activities, promoting knowledge about printing techniques, art, traditions, and history of Nowy Targ and the entire region. In a modern building, the institution uses new forms of operation based on an original program created by us.

WA Jatki Gallery

Professional Art Gallery JATKI in Nowy Targ was established in 1990 (exhibition activities began in September 1991 with an exhibition of works by Nowy Targ artists) with its headquarters in a building commonly known as Jatki. Nowy Targ residents remember that there were once butcher shops there, i.e., Jatki. If we were to check this fact, history would open up very interesting pages from the life of this part of our city.
